Leopard Queen

Now this is fun. Leopard was definitely associated with royalty in ancient Egypt, with the pharaohs often depicted wearing a leopard skin over their shoulders. In fact, it was more than just a royal symbol; the sem-priests that performed the funerary rights on mummys also wore leopard. So it could be seen as a religious emblem, and the pharaohs as wearing it to strengthen the idea that the royal house was related to the . . . gods . . .well, crap.
