Update: Masks

Okay, slight change of plan everyone. It looks like Masks will be posted on January 1 instead of tomorrow as I’d hoped. Mea culpa, but it took a bit longer to finish some ending stuff than I’d anticipated, and I still have to proof and post it. And since it’s fairly lengthy, that will take a while. But I think you will find that the short delay was worth it! See you Jan. 1!

Coming December 30

Fifteenth century Venice is the only open port where the masterless dregs of the vampire world can live without fear of attack for violating another’s territory. But there are plenty of other ways for a young vampire to die in the most glittering city of the age, as former prince and current pauper Mircea Basarab quickly learns. But there are opportunities, too—in the service of a secretive courtesan, in the bed of a beautiful senator, and in the hunt for an ancient assassin.

A vendetta older than Venice itself comes to a climax as Mircea struggles to evade the dangers of his current life, to come to terms with his past, and to uncover the truth hidden behind a city of masks.

Just in from a very creative reader–love it!
